PMMXX® are cables guided for dynamic installation on drag chains for high dynamic performance. They are characterised by a support braid, made up of aramid fibres, highly resistant to traction and compliant with stringent UL® and CSA standards.
The polyurethane jacket makes PMMXX® cables for dynamic installation resistant to chemical agents and aggressive industrial oils, abrasion and sharp objects while the support element makes them suitable for long runs or vertical installations. These features qualify the PMMXX® family for industrial use in automatic machines intended for a wide variety of sectors such as:
- Logistics
- Vertical or SMT magazines
- Packaging with long runs
- Bridge cranes
- Festoon applications
- Loop winder and pulley applications
- In general, where the cable can be subject to high traction.
For the correct installation of these cables for dynamic installation, we recommend securing the support braid, under the jacket, to the structure/device on which the cable is installed. Traction is thus internally discharged on the braid, avoiding potential copper conductor breaks.
