2022, FORTY YEARS THAT PROPEL US INTO THE FUTURE

2022 was a memorable year for us. In addition to reaching an important milestone, our first 40 years of activity, we had the pleasure of collecting a series of successes that helped make these 12 months very special. Let us remember them together.

THE NEW FACE OF TECO

Rewriting a new future means starting again from the basics: one’s vision, one’s values, one’s face. In a journey that began in January and in partnership with partners specialising in branding projects, TECO logo and image underwent a full rebranding process.

Employees, customers and partners were also involved in the process, first interviewed and then asked to express their preference among the three finalist brands during the SPS Parma exhibition.

The result was then presented to the public in October, at the launch of TECO’s new corporate identity.

40 YEARS TOGETHER

Together, around a table and in a picturesque setting. We could only celebrate our first 40 years in business in this way.

During the evening, we celebrated our success story and the values that unite us: from our core focus – relationships to technical expertise, from the importance of service to the roots that underpin our corporate culture.

EVER STRONGER PARTNERSHIPS

Cables and components, products and services, TECO and its partners, complementary elements that enhance the strength of individuals.

For years, we have relied on the best international players in the industrial automation components market, and 2022 saw several confirmations of the importance of collaborations with our technology partners. In particular, the prestigious South Region Distributor Partner of the Year awards received by Rockwell Automation at the PNC Partner Network Conference and EMEAI Top Achievement Partner by Datalogic, which celebrated 50 years in business last November.

SPS PARMA AND NUREMBERG

In 2022, the curtain has reopened for the world of trade fairs. First act: from 24 to 26 May in Parma with SPS Italia – Smart Production Solutions, which featured specialists in the industrial automation sector.

During the fair, we organised a series of events in cooperation with our partners Datalogic, Rockwell Automation, Icotek and UL, while our cable specialists accompanied visitors to discover the best application solutions for TECO cables.

The second act: from 8 to 10 November in Nuremberg, again as part of the Smart Production Solutions event.

At the event, TECO presented itself abroad with its new face and its cables made in Italy and certified for international markets.

TECO FOR THE FUTURE

Aiming at the new generations by stimulating their curiosity about technological innovation: with this objective, TECO decided to offer a scholarship to Fondazione Golinelli ‘s “School of Ideas” , the first STEAM secondary school in Italy, which started a first class in September.

Support for the Foundation was also renewed with the participation in the series of events dedicated to young middle and high school students and organised at the Festival of Technical Culture.

During the week, the participants reflected on the human-machine relationship and the skills they will need to enter the world of work and face a tomorrow full of challenges and opportunities.

The concluding panel discussion was moderated by science popularizer Giorgio Sestili and chaired by important guests from the leading companies in the industry that collaborated with TECO in organising the event: Rockwell Automation, Datalogic Italia, Elettrocablaggi srl and MrRobotica.

OUR MANAGEMENT

The year 2022 also welcomed Giorgia Roversi to TECO. The new Managing Director enriched the corporate governance with her decades of experience in key roles in international innovation companies.

“2022 was a year full of milestones: we celebrated our 40th anniversary, refreshed our logo and image and started a major digital transformation process. We start 2023 with great energy and a new business plan that will take us to 2025. At the centre is our team, Mr Customer, product culture, digitisation and internationalisation. I thank our team, our customers and our partners for their work this year and wish everyone a peaceful and fulfilling 2023.” Giorgia Roversi
